FAQ

  • What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a method to tap into the subconscious mind - the part of your mind that is the most powerful. It contains a very deep level of intelligence and infinite wisdom and keeps a record of everything you have ever said, heard, seen, experienced and felt, even from before you were born. Hypnosis rests your conscious, critically thinking mind – it feels very relaxing to be in hypnosis and doesn’t feel like you’re "hypnotized". In fact, you actually enter this slower brain wave 2 x a day – right before you fall asleep and right before you wake up. Your subconscious mind is also the seat of your emotions. So, it controls and directs practically all of your behaviour. Hypnosis is a safe way to access this part of your mind in order to offer new instructions and new suggestions that will create seemingly miraculous changes in your mind, emotions and body.

  • What does it feel like: during and after?

During your session you will feel comfortable and relaxed. It will feel very familiar. Afterwards, it’s different for everyone. Some feel energized, some feel tired, some feel reflective. You might feel excited – or a deep sense of wonder. You may nap! Many people continue to uncover new realizations about themselves in the weeks to come and find they have very healing, intuitive, and / or descriptive dreams. You will always leave the session with a sense of understanding and empowerment.

  • Will I be asleep? Will I remember what I say?

You will always be awake, alert, in control, and totally aware of everything that’s happening in the whole session. Hypnosis just means a slower brain wave and a suggestible state. You will remember it just like any conversation you have 😊😊

  • Will I be under the hypnotist's power?

No. You’re completely in charge and in control at all times. I’m just the facilitator, asking questions. I can’t make you do or say or accept anything you don’t want to.

  • I'm religious, doesn't that interfere?

No. I’ve had people provide Biblical quotes that I’ve provided in their transformational recording. You bring your whole self to the sessions, all your beliefs, and I meet you where you are.

  • What if I can't be hypnotized and it doesn't work for me?

You can. Everyone can. If you sleep, you can be hypnotized. Hypnosis is an easy, enjoyable and relaxing process. And RTT always works to reveal something about yourself that you couldn't see before.

  • Do you do regression?

I am trained to, but I find it just isn't necessary to revisit the trauma to heal. I prefer to work with the body and the mind as a whole. Sometimes working with the sensations of the physical body will produce a procedural memory, but everyone is different.

  • Is it effective online?

Yes. They are equally effective as face-to-face. All of my sessions are done online with Zoom. Some may even feel more at ease this way as they get to be in the comforts of their own home.
